  • Tom Tellez

    • Served 22 seasons as the Head Track & Field Coach at the University of Houston and Santa Monica Track Club.
    • Member of U.S. Track Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
    • In each of his 2 USATF international coaching jobs, U.S. teams achieved the highest Gold medal tally among nations and led the overall medal table. Tellez was at the helm in 1991 at the 3rd IAAF World Championships in Tokyo, where he led Americans to 10 Gold medals and 27 medals overall. At the 1987 Pan Am games, Team USA produced 55 medals in Track & Field, with 26 of them Gold.
    • Has produced some of the greatest track and field performers in the history of the sport, including International Olympic Committee Olympian of the Century, 6-time NCAA champion, 9-time Olympic Gold medalist Carl Lewis, former NCAA and Olympic 200-meter Gold medalist Joe DeLoach, 2-time NCAA champion and Olympic Silver medalist Kirk Baptiste, 3-time NCAA champion and Olympic Bronze medalist Frank Rutherford and Olympic Gold medal winner, 3-time NCAA champion and former WR 100-meter holder Leroy Burrell.

    • Highly adept Ranger, Green Beret and Commando Operator with nearly three decades of leadership and training expertise from platoon through brigade level.
    • Hand-picked as the ground force commander for our nation’s first combat actions against the Taliban in southern Afghanistan immediately following 9/11 and led a series of campaign-shaping special operations during a period where there was no back up or emergency extraction, relying solely on individual and small unit heroism defined by exceptional preparation, grit and brilliance.
    • Ran the Department of Defense’s one-of-a-kind assessment, selection and training element for the world’s premier commando force, tasked with finding and enhancing the ‘right person’ with the wherewithal to win in a high risk and uncertain combat environment with little to no guidance or feedback.
    • Served as the Operations, Plans and Training officer (G-3/5/7) for the U.S. Army’s entire Special Operations Force, responsible for the resourcing and assessing individual and organizational readiness for global ‘must win’ missions.
    • Led the largest commercial tactical training facility in the United States, ensuring tight standards for all aspects of trainee performance including master trainer certifications.
  • Kyle Tellez

    • Has served 27 years Track & Field Coach at the University of Houston with a focus on high jump, pole vault and multi- events.
    • Coached 2-time NCAA long jump champion Jenny Adams and 7 All-Americans in the field and multi-events.
    • Has produced over 100 individual conference champions and 6 athletes who hold individual school records in the men's indoor shot put, men's indoor pole vault, men's indoor heptathlon, women's indoor and outdoor pole vault, and women's indoor high jump.
    • Has coached 2 athletes that have competed at the Olympic Games, and 3 athletes that have competed at the World Championships.
    • Continues to travel internationally as a guest clinician at track and field clinics.

  • Ronald Grabowski, DC, RD

    • 30+ years of clinical nutritional expertise, has presented over 500 seminars and lectures on nutrition throughout the United States and in Europe.
    • Research and clinical focus is on nutritional support for athletes. Professional, college, high school athletes and those of Olympic standing continue to seek his expertise in nutrition consultation.
    • Experience includes tenure at some of the leading hospitals in the nation - The New York Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York City (affiliated with Cornell Medical Center), Memorial Care System and the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
    • Has served on the State of Texas Governor’s Childhood Obesity Taskforce and is a member of the American Dietetic Association, American Chiropractic Association and the Endocrine Society.
  • Marc Sagal, MA Sports Psychology

  • Mark Lowry, Ph.D

    • Co-founder of Winning Mind, LLC and advisor to a wide range of Fortune 1000 companies and professional sports teams, including Vans, The North Face, Timberland, International Paper, McKinsey & Company, Coach, the New York Rangers, and the Nashville Predators.
    • Served in the U.S. Army as a psychologist for over eight years, working in Special Operations with assignments to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment and 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta. Was involved in the assessment, selection, training, and operational support of elite military leaders and operators, providing him with unparalleled exposure to the mindset required under the toughest conditions.
